What is this?
The Warren is based on The Bench, a now defunct "open source" comic ran by the people behind Penny Arcade.
I give you the source part of a Bunny strip and you're free to do as you wish with the character and the format

How Do I Contribute?
If you would like to contribute to the Warren you can find a resource pack here
(PSD Template, Bunny swatch for photoshop and bunny swatch as a .psd file).

Name Guidelines
Once you have created a strip, please follow these naming guidelines :-
The naming format for the new code is "[title] - [author].xxx" (xxx. being file format)
So, a comic called "I Like Cows" by "Mr Cow" would have the file name "I_like_Cows-Mr_Cow.jpg".

What is the required size and file format
Make it as small as you possibly can using "Export For Web" or the free ImageMagick suite
.jpg .gif or .png are the accepted file formats. Any other formats will be processed and might come out looking different

What then?
E-mail the strip to darklem@gmail.com with the subject Warren

Legal Note
I grant the limited rights to use the character of The Bunny in non-commercial fashion.

Legally, I require a credit ("Bunny is (c) Huw Davies") I believe.

There are a few legal issues to be worked out I suspect, but at the moment it goes like this :-
By submitting a strip to the warren, you grant me a limited right to display the comic at this URL above until such a time that you require it removed.

To request a removal, you can e-mail me stating the strip name and I will remove it

I do not claim any other rights including distribution on any other URL or media.

In effect, I'm saying that I would like to display the comics here, but I'm not claiming them as my own

If you submit a strip that contains copyrighted content and the copyright owner contacts me requesting it's removal, I will do so as I can't afford fancy lawyers
